Zhaofei Yu, a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University. His main research interests include brain-inspired computing and neuromorphic computing. He serves as Deputy Director of Brain-like Spiking Large Model Beijing Key Laboratory and Secretary-General of the Technical Committee on Spike Vision China, Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG). He has published more than 100 papers in leading journals, including Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Science Advances, IEEE Transactions journals, as well as top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, and CVPR. He has led a number of major Research Program, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Young Scientists Fund, Ministry of Science and Technology Science and Technology Innovation 2030–Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Program for Joint Funds, and the Beijing Nova Program. He has also served as Area Chair for top-tier international conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, and ICLR. His honors include the First Prize of the Natural Science Award by Chinese Association of Automation and First Prize of Technical Invention by Ministry of Education in China.
